Swedish Massage
The swedish massage is referred to as the “classic massage,” as most anyone can benefit from it.   Using five styles of long, flowing strokes with light to medium pressure, this type of massage is best for relaxation.  If it is your first time getting a massage or you are just looking to relax, try the Swedish massage.

Deep Tissue Massage
As it’s name indicates it uses deep, focused pressure to release chronic muscle tension or knots. Pressure is deeper than the Swedish massage. This treatment is not for the light of heart, but within a few days, many people feel release from chronic pain.  It’s important to drink a lot of water after this treatment to help flush the lactic acid out of the tissue.

Sports Massage
Athletes of all kinds can benefit from a sports massage. For athletes with specific events, consider booking a massage pre and post event, to help your performance and recovery.  Remember to mention the event when booking your appointment.    Most athletes deal with chronic pain from a previous injury.  A sport massage can also benefit, as the therapist will focus on specific problem areas.

Prenatal Massage
Massage therapy during pregnancy is a healthy way to reduce stress and promote overall wellness. Massage relieves many of the normal discomforts experienced during pregnancy, such as backaches, stiff neck, leg cramps, and headaches. Massage for pregnant women can help relieve depression or anxiety caused by hormonal changes.
